Many parents accept the inevitable — small children are going to trash their car. Parents plan on smudge marks on the back of the passenger seat from constant kicks, imprints on the back seat from the weight of the car seat, and crumbs scattered on the floor from incessant snacking.

But most parents don’t plan on their car getting hit with a toy tornado. Action figures on the floor, crayons wedged between seat — toys everywhere.

A backseat caddy can help parents organize toys within a child’s reach and insist children put their items back in the caddy when leaving the car.
Sunshine Kids Travel Pal is a car caddy that holds drinks, books, and small toys. The caddy is about seven inches wide and can fit between two car seats in the back seat.

The caddy has an eight inch depth and deep pockets to help prevent items from spilling out. There is also a side pocket to hold flat items such as a coloring book, and a zipper pocket for parents to stash stuff.
The front has two insulated drink holders and the cargo area is water proof. The base is solid to hold the shape and prevent bending. The caddy can be secured to the vehicle seat or on the arm of a booster seat.
Made from polyester, spot clean only.

It is $14.99 at SKJP.com, Target.com or BedBathandBeyond.com.
